This first part, below, is a bit technical; but we have included it to try to bring credible medical evidence that you are probably going to live longer than you had originally planned! I have a friend on the Board at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He is the one who told me about this Mitochondrial Research a short time ago and he also told me that we are on the threshold of seeing human life expectancy leap by 25 years very, very soon.

Accelerating Longevity Curve  vs. Financial Planning Gap

Of course, we all know that medical science it extending life expectancies in modern society.

Americans' lives have been getting longer by two to three months every year, this past year they increased by four months – “an unusually rapid improvement”.

During the 20th century, the average lifespan in the United States increased by more than 30 years; 25 years of which can be attributed to advances in public health.  In 2001, life expectancy was 75 for men and 81 for women.  At age 110, about 90 percent of the population is female, and this increases still higher to about 92 percent by age 112.

In 2008, government researchers reported that U.S. life expectancy has surpassed 78 years old, for men, and 84 years old, for women, for the first time. Epidemiologists attributed the increase to falling mortality rates for nine of the 15 leading causes of death, including heart disease, cancer, accidents and diabetes.

Flu and pneumonia deaths dropped by 13% between 2005 and 2006. New treatments also reduced the risk of death for people with heart disease and other conditions. Deaths from stroke, bronchitis and emphysema also fell.

Japan has the longest life expectancy – 83 for men according to the World Health Organization. Switzerland and Australia are also near the top of the list.

Therapeutic interventions which might enhance the body’s maintenance and repair systems may include:

•    Inhibiting or reversing the glycation and crosslinking of extracellular proteins;
•    Inhibiting or removing the accumulation of lipofuscin/ceroid and other crosslinked aggregates in non-dividing cells;
•    Deactivating or slowing the production of highly reactive chemicals (ROS or free radicals);
•    Chelating excess iron, especially in neurons;
•    Repairing or replacing damaged DNA, proteins, membranes, and mitochondria;
•    Selectively blocking that portion of the insulin receptor signaling pathway which may cause senescence effects;
•    Maintaining the telomeres at the ends of the chromosomes, or else treating the effects of shortened teleomeres;            
•    Injecting hormones to bring blood concentrations to levels found naturally in young people.

•    Injecting or grafting replacement cells or tissues to provide the functions which were formerly provided by cells which became senescent or damaged. (Sometimes called “transplantation”.) Some techniques under development use multi-potent stem cells.


Packing Power

 

Mitochondria are among the small structures called organelles that reside within a cell. Known as the cells’

powerhouses, mitochondria extract energy from fuels such as glucose in the presence of oxygen to produce a

molecule called adenosine triphosphate, or ATP (green), which provides energy for the cell. In the process, the mitochondia produce dangerous free radicals (red). 

 

A network of five protein complexes (yellow, I-V) called the electron transport chain sits in the mitochondrion’s deeply folded inner membrane. ATP is created at the last complex (V) within the chain and then passes through

a channel (light blue) in the inner membrane before diffusing through the outer membrane into the cell. 

 

Protein complexes I and III leak electrons to oxygen, producing superoxide radicals.  Highly reactive molecules

such as hydrogen peroxide are produced by biochemical reactions in the matrix. These free radicals move into

the cell, where they can wreak havoc. Accumulation of such damage may lead to human diseases, including

Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.

 

New Longevity Drugs Poised to Tackle Diseases of Aging
In labs across the country, researchers are developing several new drugs that target the cellular engines called mitochondria. The first, resveratrol, is already in clinical trials for diabetes. It could be on the market in four years and used off-label as an all-purpose longevity enhancer. Other drugs promise to be more potent and refined. They might even be cheap.

“Mitochondrial treatments are going to revolutionize western medicine,” said Doug Wallace, a pioneer of mitochondrial medicine at the University of California at Irvine. “Many diseases which are common for an aging society, and for most of them, nobody worries about until they were dying of infectious disease,” he said, “many of these will soon be treatable with great success.”

Financial Impact of Increased Longevity
So let’s assume that in the next 10 years, the average life expectancy will increase to between 85 and 90 years old, or older. Unfortunately the average retirement plan only allows for financial independence for about 10 years after retirement at the age of about 60.  That leaves an unfunded 20 year gap for many – and maybe a 30-year funding gap for a healthier subset of society!

Of course, those numbers are optimistic. With the current recession, there are Millions of “Boomers” who are now facing early retirement at the very same time that their retirement funds have been cut in half. In short, there is a huge demand for continuing income for many Americans who were previously considered to be in the middle income bracket.

A large majority of these ex-6-figure wage earners, who will be the most challenged to find another job late in their careers, were previously highly experienced corporate executives, managers and sales professionals.

Leads are distributed only through RealTime Manager, so if you are not using our RTM Distribution Channel Management System, you are not really on the Team!

When a new GrayFox Sales Professional applicant feels confident enough in the technology and wants to start selling products and services, a new version will need to be created so that Administrative Permissions can be used to manage transactions. This version carries a low monthly subscription fee, but it opens up a world of revenue opportunities.

#5. You are assigned a geographic territory with Limited Exclusivity as defined in our GrayFox Sales Professional Agreement, where you are the only GrayFox Sales Professional approved to set up Authorized Resellers within a specifically-defined geography / "Qualified As Active" Requirements are strictly enforced here.

You are allowed to sell directly to Key Accounts outside of your Home Sales Territory (where you have a strategic connection and can handle the service requirements appropriately), with prior written approval of the company.

Depending on support requirements for that specific product or service, you may be required to split your commission with the GrayFox Sales Professional in that Sales Territory.

#6. As you build your book of business within your marketplace, your Sales Territory acquires a Net Present Value over time, as defined by the Company in the GrayFox Sales Professional Agreement. 

This asset is transferable to an immediate family member  (spouse, children, siblings and parents), in the event of your death and provided they can meet the service requirements of the Sales Territory.

Alternatively, you may request, in writing, that another GrayFox Sales Professional (applicant), or the Company shall buy out your Sales Territory. The approval for such a request shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Company.

#7. We will constantly be adding new
Genuine ® "Global Sourcing Suppliers" and new Co-branded Products.

These products which will constantly expand your prospects for signing up additional Authorized Resellers within your home Sales Territory.
